Congrats are in order for veteran media personality Wendy Williams. The Wendy Williams Show host has earned a 46th annual Daytime Emmy Award nomination.

Williams's nod is in the Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host category. She is the only single show host in the category and is going up against The Real, The View, The Talk and Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest.

The good news comes at a very important time in the host’s life. After taking an extended hiatus from her show to seek treatment for complications of Graves' disease, Williams admitted she was living in a sober house and bravely battling personal demons.

She shared her personal struggles last week. “… You know I’ve had a struggle with cocaine in the past. I never went to a place to get treatment … there are people in your family, it might be you … I want you to know more of the story,” Williams began.

Explaining how she spends her days after filming her popular show, she said, “After I go to the Pilates and go to several meetings all around town in the tri-state area, I see my brothers and sisters caught up in their addiction and looking for help. They don’t know I’m Wendy. They don’t care I’m Wendy. It’s the brothers and sisters caught up in the struggle. It’s been really interesting, this ride.”

Days before her announcement, Williams launched her own drug abuse hotline, (1-888-5HUNTER), saying, “We must all come together to respond to this crisis of addiction and substance abuse.”
