Nicki Minaj recently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to discuss the controversy surrounding the release of her latest album, Queen, and revealed she had been in a “toxic” relationship with Meek Mill.

She doubled down on her comments about Travis Scott using his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, and their daughter, Stormi, to promote tour tickets and merchandise to help inflate his album sales for the week.  Minaj’s fourth studio album debuted No. 2 on the Billboard charts and the “Bigger Dreams” rapper went on Twitter and her Queen Radio Show to clarify that she had the top spot because she actually sold “music” to earn her ranking.

“I don’t like being bullied, and I don’t like being taken advantage of,” Minaj said. “Sometimes people use scare tactics against you because they know especially as a Black woman that people will call you angry and bitter.”

DeGeneres then asked about the Queens rapper’s dating history. Minaj denied ever dating her labelmate Drake, but said, “I was in a relationship with Meek for a while. It was a very toxic something, and we ended that. ” Nicki also spoke candidly about her love life and the importance of being single as an adult because she’s “more free.”
