We knew it was only a matter of time before new mama Bey was back to work. Sony Picture's "One Hit Wonders," a "Glee" for grown-ups, is in the works and Beyonce has been one of the actresses cast for the film. No word yet as to what sort of character she would portray, but the cast is shaping up to be full of rom-com veterans.

The idea for "One Hit Wonders" was dreamt up during a dinner at "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy's house, with guests Reese Witherspoon, Cameron Diaz and Bey's friend Gwyneth Paltrow, all of whom are also set to star as washed up 90's singers. Beyonce is currently wrapping up "A Star is Born," so this Murphy film will be next on her most likely lengthy list of projects.

How well would Beyonce pull off a comedic role? Should she continue to flex her ambidextrous talents or stick to her vocal lane?
