Black Panther has been taking names at the box office since it’s February 16th release, remaining the top film in the country for five weeks and becoming the highest grossing superhero movie of all time.

In its sixth week of release however, Black Panther has come in at number two, bringing in a still impressive $17 million while John Boyega’s Pacific Rim Uprising dethroned the King of Wakanda, bringing in $28 million, according to CNN.

While Pacific Rim Uprising didn’t do the same numbers as its predecessor in its first week, as 2013’s Pacific Rim brought in $37 million, nudging the biggest film in years out of the top spot is nothing to sneeze at.

Black Panther has earned more than $630 million domestically and an astounding $1.2 billion worldwide.
