Lashana Lynch Gives James Bond A Run For His Money In ‘No Time To Die’

From Gloria Hendry to Grace Jones and Halle Berry, Black women have been able to see themselves on screen as love-interests in the Bond franchise before buzz words like diversity and inclusion were mainstays. However, Lashana Lynch will tell you that her character Nomi is no one’s Bond girl. The MI6 00 agent has more in common with the Aston Martin-loving spy than he could ever imagine. Jules Allen: The Art of Afro-Normalism
