Honolulu councilman Augie Tulba is under fire after he shared a 15-year-old video of himself in blackface. According to Honolulu Civil Beat, the nearly 3-minute long video is a parody piece titled “Hawaii’s Next Top Mahu.” Tulba, who is also a stand-up comedian, impersonates multiple characters including Alexander Jenkins aka Miss J from "America's Next Top Model." “We laughed so hard filming this segment #FunTimes," Tulba captioned the video.

Lil' Uzi Vert Accused Of Assault and Harassment by Ex-Girlfriend

Rapper Lil' Uzi Vert has been accused of harassment and assault by his ex-girlfriend, Brittany Byrd, and her manager. According to TMZ, the "XO Tour Llif3" rapper allegedly approached Byrd at a West Hollywood Café, struck her, and pointed a gun in her direction. “Uzi has been stalking Brittany since they broke up,” Byrd's manager Brianna told The Shade Room. “Uzi is toxic and mentally and physically abusive. He has been for years.” Uzi has not publicly commented on the incident.

Florida Men Arrested in Assassination of Haitian President

Two Florida men who were arrested in connection to the assasination of Haiti's President Jovenel Moïse say that they did not know they were partaking in an assasination, The Sun Sentinel, reports. Instead, James Solages and Joseph Vincent told investigators that they believed they were acting as translators in the lawful arrest of Moïse. Solages said that he responded to an ad on the internet seeking an interpreter for an operation in Haiti.

Pfizer Seeks Authorization for COVID Booster

Pfizer met with United States federal health officials Monday in order to make a case for COVID vaccine boosters, CNBC reports. While Pfizer representatives have said that they've noticed waning immunity and argue that there is need for a booster, the Center For Disease Control and Prevention rebuked the pharmaceutical company and said that fully vaccinated adults do not need boosters at this time.
