When it was announced in February that Pharrell Williams was the new Creative Director of Louis Vuitton menswear, we couldn’t stop smiling. He previously collaborated with the luxe designer brand on projects in 2004 and 2008, but this is the first collection designed entirely by the N.E.R.D. rapper.
Known for setting trends in the music and fashion worlds, we knew he would be coming with some heat—it was only a matter of time. Williams succeeds the late Virgil Abloh, who was the previous men’s artistic director for the French fashion house for the last 4 years, before his death in 2022.
Yesterday, in Paris, the “Happy” singer debuted his LV Spring/Summer 2024 menswear collection. It was a star-studded event as Williams was supported by his friends and peers in the industry. To be honest, we haven’t seen a front row line-up at a runway show like this, in ages. From Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Naomi Campbell, and Zendaya—to name a few— celebrities showed up in their best Louis Vuitton looks, ready to see what the creative genius had up his sleeve as he takes on this new role.
Below, we've rounded up some of our favorite looks of the night from attendees.
