POSE stars MJ Rodriguez, Dominique Jackson, Indya Moore and Billy Porter spoke EBONY on the pink carpet at the 2019 Met Gala on Monday. Each one shared their excitement about being the prestigious fashion event.
Jackson described her camp style influences, which include Grace Jones, Diana Ross, Cher and Prince.
When asked what camp meant to him, Porter responded, "Camp means, as the kids say today, 'Being extra." The Tony winner added, "And I'm always extra."
Series co-creator Ryan Murphy said he knew from directing the pilot episode that the stars "just needed the opportunity" to display their talents.
