On the corner of 135th Street and Lenox Avenue, right in the heart of the upper Manhattan, Harlem Hospital has been a constant lifeline for locals since its inception in 1887. So, what better place for famed fashion Mecca Harlem Haberdashery (HH) to host its annual masquerade ball last Saturday? As the retail extension of design-house 5001 FLAVORS, HH has been bringing custom-made apparel with an uptown flair to the masses for over 20 years. Not just a reason to party, the ball served as a thank you to the neighborhood which has provided the retailer endless inspiration. – Fashion Editor, Ericka N. Goodman, @ericka_editor
