Love & Hip Hop executive producer Mona Scott-Young can add author to her résumé with the upcoming release of her first novel, Blurred Lines. According to Variety, the book is the first project from Monami Direct, a division of the multiplatform company Monami Entertainment, where Scott-Young is CEO.

Blurred Lines is co-authored by New York Times best-selling writer Courtney Parker. The fiction novel is described as “a page-turning, juicy story of love, lies and betrayal set in the world of music and entertainment–all themes that our viewers are familiar with, but the novel will take readers ‘beyond the reality’ and delve further into the compelling storytelling they have come to know and love.”

Scott-Young shared the news about her book, writing, “I am very excited to announce the pre-order of my debut novel.” The former manager hopes the release will help expand the Monami brand.

Pre-orders for Blurred Lines are available on the Monami website, monamidirect.com. A general release is set for June 26.
