With a surprise special guest, a slick Fenty Beauty product placement and over 50 dope dancers, Rihanna set it off at Super Bowl LVII with a high-energy medley of her greatest hits after being seven years away.

Starting off elevated in the air, Rihanna held a her starting pose like a G while rocking an even more powerful red ensemble. Leading up to this performance, many had theories of what Rih would open her 13 minute set with. Therefore, the anticipation was extra heavy. Legendary musician Adam Blackstone was integral in this seamless tracklist that began with "B*tch Better Have My Money" and closed with "Diamonds."

You know that you are one of the GOATs when you can create mashups with your own music. In between her opening and closing songs, she performed renditions of the popular TikTok remix of "Rude Boy," "Where Have You Been," "Wild Thoughts" and more.

Throughout the past few years, Rihanna and top-notch choreographer Parris Goebel have made pure magic as a creative unit. This performance was absolutely no different. The dancers came through in droves with clean lines and movements accentuating the hype of each song she sang. The synergy of donning matching snow white fits created a total takeover on the Super Bowl field, representing big time for the Navy, Rihanna's fanbase.

A major highlight of the performance had been the wide speculation about whether or not she gave us a low-key pregnancy reveal or was showing off her comfortability with her new body. The Black Twitter streets once again proved to be the ultimate super sleuths, ultimately getting to the real answer.

CBS news anchor Nate Burleson referenced his recent interview with her in a new tweet asconfirmation of her pregnancy prior to this news breaking. When asked about any special guests who would grace the stage alongside her a few days ago, Rihanna shared, "I'm thinking about bringing someone, I'm not sure."

In the hour after her performance, representation from her camp confirmed to the music publication Rolling Stones that she is indeed carrying another baby. Rihanna will always serve us a wondrous spectacle and beautiful drama so making this her reveal was the most iconic way to do so.

All in all, it was a truly epic performance that delivered the landmark tracks we love and reminded us why she gets paid the big bucks for her innovative vision. But, be prepared EBONY fam, we might not ever get that new album again for a while now.
