It’s safe to say that whenever Rihanna isn’t doing something good for the world community, she’s making moves that put her in a rarefied space amongst cultural icons. To close out this month, the Bajan billionaire has new work in the form of a visual autobiography that is sure to be one of the highlights of a two-day design fair happening April 25-26.

NTWRK, the mobile-first video shopping platform, will partner with SURFACE Media to create a virtual experience that enables artists, designers, and supporters of the culture to connect in an innovative way. In collaboration with artist duo The Haas Brothers, Rihanna’s visual autobiography will drop exclusively on 1:30 p.m. PT / 4:30 p.m. EST amongst next-wave fashion items, original artworks, and more. Hosted by the Surface editorial team, this festival will be a chance to dive deeper into the bad gyal’s life from her childhood to her worldwide tours to private time with friends and family.

“The book showcases intimate photographs of her life as an artist, performer, designer, and entrepreneur,” a press release states. “Many of these images have never before been published.” Marc Lotenberg, CEO of Surface Media, will use their new shoppable platform, Design Dose, to “offer audiences a highly edited selection of products.” “We’ll take the customer journey to a new frontier by connecting our audience with the creators behind their favorite pieces of design.”

Due to NTWRK’s technology, there’s no word whether customers will be connected with Rihanna to watch, chat and learn more about the behind-the-scenes of her newest work. But this is a rare opportunity to get something that’s priceless from Rihanna that’s not an NFT.
