Rapper-turned-actor Romeo Miller announced Monday that he would be joining Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in the highly anticipated Bad Boys 3 movie.

Miller uploaded a screenshot of an email to his Instagram Stories about the upcoming film: “Below find information [redacted] for the feature film “BAD BOYS 3” for the role of [redacted].”

The former Empire guest star shared his excitement about the achievement.

“When you get callbacks and opportunity to work alongside your idols @martinlawrence and @willsmith, you go study and go ghost.” – Romeo Miller

He continued, “These kind of calls and emails is what makes it worth it though.”

After much speculation, Lawrence and Smith confirmed last month the production of Bad Boys 3. The sequel comes more than 15 years following the release of the critically acclaimed Bad Boys II movie.

Miller, the son of rap mogul Master P, appears on the WE tv reality series Growing Up Hip Hop. According to IMDB, in 2018 he was in the Famous Love TV series and the films Never Heard and Adolescence.

He began his acting career doing cameos in the early 2000s before starring in his own Nickelodeon show, Romeo!, for three seasons.

Bad Boys 3 is scheduled for a 2020 release.
