The Isley Brothers (Ronald and Ernie) team up with Santana (Carlos Santana and Cindy Blackman Santana) to release a joint album, Power Of Peace, coming Friday, August 4th.
Power of Peace sees the legendary collab covering timeless soul, funk, blues, pop and jazz classics such as Marvin Gaye “Mercy Mercy Me – The Ecology,” Stevie Wonder’s “Higher Ground,” Billie Holiday’s “God Bless the Child,” Muddy Waters/Willie Dixon “I Just Want to Make Love to You”, Dionne Warwick/Jackie DeShannon’s “What the World Needs Now is Love Sweet Love,” and more. The project will also feature a lone new single titled “I Remember,” written and sung by Cindy Blackman Santana.
