There's nothing more iconic and admirable than three dope Black women coming together to make major moves in perfect alignment. Congratulations are in order for media personalities Scottie Beam and Sylvia Obell as their new podcast The Scottie & Sylvia Show will soon launch.

The streaming talk series will drop episodes on Issa Rae's Raedio platform, under her Hoorae media company, starting July 6, 2023. The show will spotlight their magnetic energy and relatable commentary in a format that is all their own. They will discuss topics ranging from the hottest news in pop culture, spilling relationship tea and much more from the perspective of Black professional women navigating the world on their own terms.

"Scottie and Sylvia are so raw and relatable, and I'm such a fan of their effortless, hilarious chemistry," said Issa Rae, CEO of Hoorae, in a statement, "I'm so grateful they chose Raedio as their podcast home."

Prior to this, the two besties had a podcast with Netflix called Okay, Now Listen, which received great reviews and was extremely popular in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The duo departed the platform and ended the show for reasons previously unknown in July 2022.

Scottie Beam rose to prominence as a radio personality on Hot97. Additionally, she was a co-host of REVOLT’s State of the Culture talk show. Sylvia Obell is a well-established journalist whose voice has been greatly trusted both through print and on-air.
