Last week, tennis pro Serena Williams shocked the world when she took to SnapChat and announced that she was pregnant. Williams, who became engaged to Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian in December, checked Internet trolls who came for her and her growing family by shutting down their racially-charged comments.

But in good, pleasant fashion, the Grand Slam champion balanced her rage with an adorable message to her unborn child Monday.

“My Dearest Baby, you gave me the strength I didn’t know I had. You taught me the true meaning of serenity and peace,” the star wrote in an Instagram post Monday. “I can’t wait to meet you. I can’t wait for you to join the players box next year. but most importantly, I am so happy to share being number one in the world with you…. once again today. On @alexisohanian bday. 😉 from the world’s oldest number one to the world’s youngest number one. -Your Mommy”

Not long after Serena’s message to her future little bundle of joy, Alexis tweeted an adorable image celebrating the couple’s much-anticipated journey to parenting.

Too cute. A rep for Williams confirmed that she is slated to deliver the baby this fall.
