'20/20' To Offer Intimate Look At George Floyd's Life

Friday, ABC's "20/20" will go behind-the-scenes and provide an intimate glimpse into the life of George Floyd courtesy of the people who knew him best. The two-hour special will include interviews with Floyd's youngest daughter Gianna Floyd, relatives, and friends. "He was kind and he was nice to my mom all of the time," Gianna said of her late father in a clip from the upcoming special. The special will also feature interviews from the classmates of Derek Chauvin, the former officer convicted of murdering Floyd during a 2020 arrest.

Digital Underground's Shock G Found Dead

Digital Underground rapper Shock G, birth name Gregory Edward Jacobs, died Thursday. According to TMZ, Jacobs was found dead inside of a hotel room in Tampa, Florida with no clear signs of trauma. According to CNN, The Hillsborough Medical Examiner confirmed that they were in possession of Edwards' remains and that he had died Thursday, but would not comment on the circumstances of his passing. They did, however, say that they were examining to determine if there was foul play. Edwards was 57 years old.

Texas Educator Investigated After Placing Foot On Student's Neck

The relatives of a 10-year-old Texas boy are demanding that a teacher at the Lamar Elementary School in Greenville, Texas be fired after she placed her foot on the student's neck because he would not stop misbehaving in class. According to Newsweek, the boy has been identified as Zaelyn Jackson. The educator, who is white, then sent a picture of her foot on Jackson's neck to his mother. Jackson told CBS DFW that his teacher did it as a joke and "didn't put pressure on it or anything." The teacher has since been placed on administrative leave.

RHOA Newcomer Confirms Marriage Is Ending

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" freshman Falynn Guobadia announced that she has split from her husband, Simon Guobadia. "After two years of marriage and 5 years of friendship, Simon and I have made the difficult decision to go our separate ways," the reality star shared on Instagram Thursday. "We are deeply thankful for the impact we have made in each other's lives, as well as the bonds formed with each other's children. This mutual decision was not made lightly."

University of Kentucky Mourns Death Of Basketball Star Terrence Clarke

Terrence Clarke, a guard for the Kentucky Wildcats has died. According to ESPN, the college athlete was killed in a car accident after running a red light while driving in Los Angeles. He was 19 years old.

"I am absolutely gutted and sick tonight," John Calipari, Kentucky coach expressed in a statement. "A young person who we all love has just lost his life too soon, one with all of his dreams and hopes ahead of him. Terrence Clarke was a beautiful kid, someone who owned the room with his personality, smile and joy. People gravitated to him, and to hear we have lost him is just hard for all of us to comprehend right now. We are all in shock."
