Snap Inc.’s shares dipped after Rihanna publicly called out the company for making light of domestic violence.
The company’s shares were down 3.64% on Thursday, closing at $17.20, after hitting a low of $16.91.
On Thursday, the “Needed Me” singer posted a note on Instagram stories blasting Snapchat after an asking, “Would you rather slap Rihanna or Punch Chris Brown?”
“Now Snapchat I know you already know you ain’t my fav app out there,” she wrote. “You spent money to animate something that would intentionally bring shame to [Domestic Violence] DV victims and made a joke of it!”

Brown faced charges for assaulting Rihanna in 2009.
