The world of Wakanda is getting even more talent. Though it’s probably impossible for us to get anymore excited about Marvel’s upcoming superhero flick Black Panther, the latest addition has us hype!
According to Marvel, Emmy winner and This Is Us star Sterling K. Brown will be joining Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong’o, Michael B. Jordan, Forest Whitaker, Danai Gurira, and Angela Bassett in the film. Brown will play N’Jobu, a figure from T’Challa aka Black Panther’s past.
Beyond thrilled to be joining this immensely talented group of actors & storytellers! Thank you for a seat at the table! 👊🏿#blackpanther https://t.co/IEbRyhkXOE

Brown has been one hell of a run lately, winning the Emmy for his portrayal of Christopher Darden in “The People V. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.” In addition to starring one of the most popular new network shows, Brown has also been nominated for Screen Actors Guild and NAACP Image awards.
Of course, social media lit up with the news of Brown’s casting, resurrecting the hashtag #BlackPantherSoLit.
