Steve Harvey is in hot water over a new lawsuit claiming the talk show host stiffed one employee big time.
Vincent Dimmock claims he struck a deal with Harvey last April to raise $20 million for the Steve and Marjorie Foundation, and in return was promised 12.5 percent of everything he brought in. Because of his extensive connections, Dimmock was able to pry the money out of high-level execs, A-list entertainers and political figures, including a former president, according to TMZ.
The suit claims Dimmock received the first million but Harvey refused to pay him his commission, now believing the author never intended to pay. The plaintiff also claims the Family Feud host disparaged women, blamed Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry for giving him bad financial advice, and also blamed Barack Obama for his “disastrous meeting with Donald Trump” during an investor meeting.
While Harvey has not responded, his agent, Todd Frank, had this to say: “It sounds fake. Steve is the most loyal guy in the world. I’ve never been stiffed on a commission from Steve Harvey in 21 years.”
