Herman Gordon, a custodian at Bristol University in England, was surprised in June when 230 students gifted him with money for a vacation to visit his family. On Thursday, he shared photos with his wife, Denise, at the Sandals Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica, according to the Good News Network.

Gordon is described as a “jolly” person and had not been back to see his family in four years. The students banded together to raise more than $2,000.

The Gordons were able to celebrate their 23rd wedding anniversary with a couple’s massage and candlelit dinner. They stayed on the resort for two days before heading to see Herman’s family in Kingston.

“God bless you all. Everybody will see this and think that I’m a trillionaire,” Herman wrote under the photos. Denise chimed in and thanked the university students for their kindness and generosity.
