If you're a Black woman, you know the name African Pride. For many of us, this was one of the first brands that made us feel important and tended to our hair. But now, African Pride isn't just bringing Black women together over their tresses. The leading brand in African-American hair care helped ColorComm host their first conference in Miami, bringing together hundreds of career driven women of color looking to either advance, refresh or get a start on their journeys to success.

The conference, which took place at the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne Resort, hosted numerous panels led by key industry mavens. An amazing dinner, keynoted by Soledad O'brien, welcomed all guests the first night while Johnson Publishing Company's Desiree Rogers helped wrap the conference in a thoughtful, inspiring luncheon the last day.

ColorComm will host their second annual conference next summer, with details to follow!
