From the young age of 18, Crosse just new she was meant to flaunt in front of the cameras. Now, being in the modeling industry for over more than a decade, the former face (and body) of  popular plus size fashion brand, Ashley Stewart, is on to the next with her newest endeavors. From rocking Full Figure Fashion Week in NYC to hosting her 3rd Football Le Femme Monday night series in Harlem, this gorgeous brown beauty can't be stopped (and she won't stop, either).

EBONY: Hey Liris! The last time we talked, you were prepping for you campaign with Ashley Stewart. Update the readers on what's new with you in your work life!

LC:This summer I rocked Full Figured Fashion Week in NYC once again! Then, I partnered up and hosted Curves Rock Fashion Weekend in Baltimore. And of course, I'm just now coming off of the early fall in-store campaign for Ashley Stewart stores nationwide. I also hosted an in-store event for them recently, which was a lot of fun. I was also a part of the lookbook shoot for the evening and prom wear company, Blush Prom, which debuts this month. I'm still turning it out for JimmyJazz.com, as the premiere face for their plus section. Last month, I had a blast going to go-sees to meet the clients out in the UK with my agency, Hughes Models. I really hope to return there for work again soon.

EBONY: You have been on the move. But it's nothing better to hear than a Black model putting in work. I'm an extreme Football girl and I was hyped to hear that you host your own Football parties in the city. Tell me a bit more about the Football Le Femme?

LC: It's a Monday night football event for “the women who love football, and the men who love both." I launched it in fall of 2011 alongside my team: designer Briana Bingham and Personal/ Event Coordinator Chef, Iman Dean. We're all three strong women with a major love for football. Every week, we have special guest hosts or events along with the viewing, which always leads to fun, memorable nights! Readers in NYC can come out and join us. It’s held every Monday at 9A Restaurant & Lounge in Harlem on 133rd St & 12th Ave, with music from our female DJ Amanda Blaze. There's lots of TVs and the food is awesome.

EBONY: This also sounds like the perfect spot to meet some matches! You've been in the game for a minute and have watched models come and go. Do you have a Black model you're girl crushing over at the moment?

LC: My favorite model right now is Anita Marshall. She is a new model who came on the plus modeling scene a year ago and has taken the industry by storm. I met her working on an Ashley Stewart job. We clicked immediately. She is young, funny and simply beautiful. What makes her stand apart is the strides she's making for models who are a size 16, by pushing the envelope of what is fashion forward and beautiful. You can see her work from Macy's, Pennington's, Monif C. and many more. She really is one to watch!
