The 53rd annual NAACP Image Awards happened this past Saturday and our favorite celebrities showed up and slayed. To quote our good sis, Issa Rae, we always root for everybody Black so it's a blessed day when we get to witness a ceremony where our people win all night long. The award's show featured an epic performance from Mary J. Blige, a surprise appearance by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex—Prince Harry and Meghan Markle—and our favorite celebs looking like the queens and kings that they are, including Zendaya, Jennifer Hudson, Daniel Kaluuya, and Issa Rae (who also announced that evening that she will be hosting the award ceremony next year.)
