Beyoncé just released her spring 2018 merch collection through her online shop. Queens recognize other queens; the collection pays homage to the ancient Egyptian Queen Nefertiti. The drop features short- and long-sleeved shirts, crop tops and a black hoodie. All of the items have pictures of Queen Bey in headgear that resembles Nefertiti’s famous crown. The pieces range in price from $35 to $60.
Bey’s collection comes after the Today show’s recent significant backlash for airing a segment during Black History Month that showed high-tech imaging of Queen Nefertiti as a White woman.
