Description of Event: “The planning process for us started off with very many open houses, vendor meet-and-greets, and tastings at our venue; many evenings and days driving up to the hills in Berkeley and a lot of online vendor research. After a while, it became very overwhelming. I wanted a very classic and romantic wedding look, and my theme would be 'romantic garden.' The beautiful redwood trees, I thought, would be an amazing backdrop for our wedding. I chose very soft colors, blush and grey, and wanted a very pretty bouquet of white flowers for my bridesmaids to wear. I loved flowing blush-colored dresses with grey/ silver accents and blush bouquets. We incorporated these colors through all of the wedding elements. During one of the open houses, I met Chanda Eddens of A Monique Affair, and she told me she would be able to help me pull the event together and make sure that someone like me, who is notoriously late, would have a prompt and stress-free wedding day. And that's exactly what I had. It was a lot of work selecting all of the little important details, but I loved being a bride and it was an amazing day for us.”
