The bride on her special day:

“The best part of the wedding planning process was seeing our ideas come to life. We didn’t have a theme per se, but we wanted all gold everything. Gold chairs. Gold vases. Gold cakes. Everything. We paired gold with peach to ensure the glamour was accompanied with romance. We chose the historic Fort Worth T&P Station for our reception because its ritzy ceiling was the perfect complement to our color scheme.

“But even with all the glitter and glam of the reception, our favorite detail was the ceremony. We met during undergrad at [Texas Christian University] and our first and last class together was in the same building as the chapel where we got married. That moment was sentimental for us both. The chapel was where it all began.

“The most memorable part of our wedding was dancing at the reception. Although it flew by, we distinctly remember the smiles, laughter and tears of joy from everyone in attendance. The dance floor was packed the entire night and it was the best feeling in the world. We were completely surrounded by love.”
