Four years ago, I was working with a bride who pulled out the most stunning headpiece I’ve ever seen. I was literally speechless when this beautiful piece of art came out the box. With women everywhere putting so much energy and effort into their big day, your headpiece is just as important as your dress. So I took a trip to one of my favorite bridal millinery shops, Vows in Philadelphia, to give you few ideas for a chic headpiece for your wedding day.

The Traditional Bird Cage

This has to be one of my favorite styles when it comes to bridal millinery. It’s classic and literally never goes out of style. This particular piece is paired with three large flowers, which gives it a light, carefree look, especially when you are wearing a head full of natural curls.

The Mantilla Veil

Traditionally worn in Spain, this veil has become extremely popular with brides looking to make a statement. These amazing pieces are made of the finest silk lace and they allow you to bring the drama without weighing down your head.

The Bridal Crown

This look is definitely not for the shy girl. Show everyone the queen you are with this stunning beaded crown.

The Beaded Cap

This has to be one of my favorite pieces simply because of the beaded detail.

The Bling Factor

Many brides who rock a low cut think a headpiece for the wedding is out of the question, but hopefully after seeing this, you’ll change your mind. This full rhinestone cap can also be worn with a flower attachment for even more added drama.

The Bling Factor with Added Flowers

Go over the top with a beaded headpiece by adding flowers and even feathers to your headpiece.
