Cardi B is busy stacking her money this holiday season, signing an endorsement deal with Steve Madden to promote their 2018 holiday shoe collection.
The former reality star will soon be seen everywhere promoting the affordable brand, dishing out her own unique “Daily Tips” that will keep you lit on a budget this season.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper curated her five favorite Steve Madden styles for the campaign — from “p*ssy poppin pink” booties to thigh-highs — and improvised her own dialogue on how best to rock them.
A phone number (1-833-SM-CARDI) scrolls across the screen in each ’80s PSA-style video, but so far the line is inactive.
In an interview with Teen Vogue, the Bronx-born spitter stressed how important it was for her to work with brands her fans, known as Bardi Gang, would be able to purchase.
“All of this came about because I keep bringing up to my manager, I want to work with brands that are affordable. And are chic but good quality. I don’t want to work with a brand that is like, ‘Yeah they make shoes,’ or ‘Yeah, they make clothes,’ but it’s like…cheap, not good to wear. I’ve always been a fan of Steven Madden. We have a mutual friend, and bam! We connected.”
