Rihanna wowed and took us to church at last night’s Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Ball with her heavenly papal-inspired, bejeweled vestments designed by John Galliano for Maison Margiela and a bedazzling miter, better known as bishop’s hat, by the millinery king Stephen Jones. But her ensemble wasn’t the only show-stopping thing about her look that night. The Bajan superstar’s stunningly chic coif and gloriously sublime makeup complemented her beatific sartorial choice and had us hollering “Amen!” Glossy waved tendrils innocently peeked from the sides of the commanding headpiece, and her beautiful beat created by Fenty Beauty makeup artist Priscilla Ono was simply stunning.  Here, Ono, Rihanna’s favorite maquillage collaborator, graces us, RiRi’s devoted followers, with the step-by-step on how to recreate her blessed look of the evening using all Fenty Beauty, of course:

Start with  Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Primer to prevent shine and pave the way for smooth makeup application. Next, apply Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation (Rihanna’s shade is #370, in case you were wondering) for a soft matte flawless complexion. Then, use the Match Stix Matte Skinstick a few shades deeper than your complexion (Ono used Truffle on RiRi) to contour and define your face.

For the lips, use Fenty Beauty’s Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick in Spanked with extra shimmer on top for a subtle sheen. Finish the look with a touch the Invisimatte Blotting Powder on the T-zone to absorb excess shine and diffuse pores for an instantly filtered appearance.
