Easy Breezy

Like a lightweight maxidress and a sip of fresh lemonade, spring’s most stunning trends are effortlessly cool. It’s all about pretty, no-fuss beauty this season. Check out these runway-inspired looks that yes, even you, can re-create. Do try this at home.

Popping Pastel MakeUp
How seasonally appropriate is it to smize with a pretty pastel hue dusted across your lids? Very! Kabuki, makeup artist for MAC Cosmetics custom-mixed and blended cyan, fuchsia and white MAC Lipmixes around the eyes, cocktailing a violet hue that pleasantly popped for designer Sally LaPointe’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week spring/summer 2015 show. Simply take a fluffy blending brush and sweep around your lids for a stained effect. Finish with light strokes of mascara on your upper and lower lashes, then blot on a muted lipstick or balm.

ColorBurst Nails
“There are no rules with this look. The colors are the palette, the nails are the canvas,” shares lead nail artist Miss Pop about fashion designer Jeremy Scott’s show. “I’m happy he’s taking this first step.” Using an array of OPI polishes, each model’s nails were painted using a dry brush technique for an abstract look. To duplicate, begin by prepping with a layer of base coat. Next, lightly apply tiny amounts of different colors of polish to a few nails (your choice of hues) and leave a few nude spots for a fun, airbrushed feel. Complete the look with  a fast-drying matte top coat.

Best Picks: OPI Nail Lacquer in That’s Hot! Pink and Can’t Find My Czechbook ($9.50 each; ULTA); OPI Matte Top Coat ($9.50; macys.com)

HEll, Yeah! Hair
Keep your strands carefree and cute with this bohemian babe-inspired coif. Start with damp hair and a deep center part. Create drama by using a lifting spray from root to tip, then blow- dry hair straight using a boar bristle brush. Wrap one-inch sections around a barrel curling iron (smaller iron for shorter hair and larger for longer) and set each curl with clips. After a few moments, take your hair down and gently brush out waves. Last, apply a dime-sized amount of curl-defining cream to smooth any flyaways and rock this runway-inspired style!
