Converse Inc. debuted their newest collaboration with rap superstar Wiz Khalifa this week. The collection will feature 12 new styles inspired by the rapper’s rebellious and fashion forward style. This marks Khalifa’s first footwear collection, and will include unique accents such as his logo tab on each design.
When asked why he chose to work with the famed brand, he admitted he’s “always gravitated toward Converse” for its “clean” and “classic” appeal. “The sneakers in my collection are dope and I’m excited to share them with my fans,” says Khalifa.
The collection has two sub brands, including the Converse All Star Chuck Taylor Swag ($75-$85), and Converse Chuck Taylor All Star ($60-$65).
The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Wiz Khalifa collection will be available in select Foot Locker (footlocker.com), Foot Action (footaction.com) and Converse (converse.com) retail stores beginning August 23, and will retail from $60 to $85.
