Teyana Taylor, dubbed “Harlem’s Princess,” is the inspiration and designer behind the instant cult classic Adidas Harlem GLC sneakers. Each GLC was celebrated this weekend with a pop-up nail salon in the SoHo neighborhood of NYC. FEED USA + Target Preview

Another one of Target’s chic collaborations has arisen. This go-round, the mass retailer is partnering with FEED Projects( a social business founded by Lauren Bush Lauren) to create the FEED USA + Target collection. The limited-time-only collection will include more than 50 stylish products and benefit Feeding America, the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity. The products will be available beginning June 30 at Target stores and on Target.com. — EG

Dove Men+Care and the Big East Conference

To celebrate their newest ad campaign, Dove Men+Care hosted a selected group of editors to view the Big East Quarterfinals at Madison Square Garden. The adorable commercials featured Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade and his boys capturing “real moments” with their family. The highlight for me? The lobster burgers in the suite. Yum! —  JH

The L.A. It-girl clothing line is launching their first fragrance to bottle up their sexy, contemporary feel for their loyal consumers. I can’t wait to wear this ultra feminine scent, perfect for summer. Of course, it didn’t hurt that the event was held in Laundry by Shelli Segal’s gorgeous NYC showroom either! — JH

A Night at Alvin Ailey

To wrap up my week, I treated myself to an express mani at TenOverTen with my best friend, followed by a performance by Alvin II dancers. I’m always beyond impressed with how agile yet strong the dancers are! The performance of Jessica Lang's Splendid Isolation II, “The Calling” (2010), nearly moved me to tears, plus I still can’t stop obsessing over the dancer’s cascading gown. — JH

Reebok Classic and Alicia Keys Launch Freestyle Hi Wedge Sneakers at Nordstrom

R&B diva Alicia Keys celebrated the launch of her new sneaker collaboration with Rebook Classics, the Freestyle Hi Wedge. This second partnership with Alicia was inspired by her favorite Reebok Classic silhouette— the Freestyle sneaker that originally launched in the 1980s (also known as 54-11s)—and updated it with a hidden wedge heel. The wedge sneakers are available at Nordstrom and Reebok.com in three colorways: white/blue, pink/yellow/black and red, all for $90. — EG
