EBONY's Style editors give you an exclusive peek of the who, what and and where of New York Fashion Week's Fall/Winter presentations:

Sean John Fall 2013 Instagram Fashion Show:
He's baaaack! After taking a hiatus from fashion week, Sean Combs returned this season with the first ever Instagram fashion show with his eponymous Sean John line. The viral event took place on Friday February 8, in which Combs posted new looks from his Fall 2013 collection every 30 minutes from 10am-5pm. Says Combs of the unconventional debut, “With Instagram technology, we are bringing Sean John to the social media runway where our consumer lives.”

Tribune Standard Fall Winter 2013 Presentation:

From ladylike finishes to bold paint-brush strokes, Tribune Standard’s Fall Winter 2013 show (which was held at the Mixed Greens Gallery) was just as effervescent as expected. Under the artful direction of designer Tawfik Mounayer, the presentation wooed a crowd of seemingly jaded editors. — Fashion Editor, Ericka Goodman

Backstage at Costello Tagliapietra Fall 2013 Show:

To achieve this look, work with your natural texture for a bedheadish-inspired look. Vercher used Rene Furterer’s dry shampoo followed by a light spritz of Avene Thermal Spring Water for an effect that looks like the girls might have gotten caught in the rain. Note the placement of the ponytail right at the base of the neck for an added cool factor. For makeup, MAC Cosmetics created a brilliantly bold lip combining Lady Danger with their fuchsia pigment; a sweet departure from the dark berry lips we anticipated. — Janell Hickman, Associate Beauty and Grooming Editor

Prabal Gurung for Target Launch Party:

Designer Prabal Gurung kicked off his Target collabo with one of the sickest events of the year, transforming a massive event space on the West Side Highway into an indoor carnival! Between the yummy empanadas, mini Patrón shots, homemade ice cream and on-site palm readers, it was sensory overload! Editors could pre-shop the new collection and even catch a ride on the Ferris wheel. Ne-Yo closed out the event with a live performance. — MB

Harlem’s Fashion Row Fall 2013 Presentations at the Apollo Theatre:

A stiletto-wearing harp player belted out James Brown's "It's a Man's Man's Man's World" on the Apollo stage, definitely the coolest fashion show intro ever! Harlem's Fashion Row presented the Fall collections of seven promising Black designers at the legendary theater on February 7. — MB

Timo Weiland Fall 2013 Show:

Loving the effortless elegance of model Melodie Monrose in a purple silk blouse and graphic pencil skirt at Timo Weiland’s Fall 2013 Presentation. Something about this look is very Michelle Obama-esque. The clean lines of the blouse paired with a funky skirt and booties make such a powerful statement in a very wearable way. — MB

Kate Spade Fall 2013 Presentation:

Kate Spade turned to her hometown of New York City for inspiration for Fall 2013. From the yellow taxi cabs, bright lights and big personalities, NYC was the star of the show! — EG

Backstage at Edun Fall 2013:
For my first ever on-camera interview for EBONY.com, I headed to Edun to speak with celebrity manicurist and Rococo lead nail artist, Gina Edwards. The look was simple, a gorgeous nude nail that complements every skin tone. To hear more about the look, make sure to check out our NYFW videos on the site! — JH
