Maya Lake Reveals Stylish Home

It's always nice to see how the other half lives, particularly when that half has designed stylish duds for Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Solange, and many other celebs. Boxing Kitten creator and designer Maya Lake is best known for her African print inspired designs that she combines with refreshingly retro cuts–a look she has dubbed "ethnic rockabilly." While the breakout designers beautiful clothing has been seen everywhere from magazines to music videos, not many have been given a look into her equally inspirational home.

Lake recently opened her ultra-stylish NJ home to an exclusive tour, where most of the inspiration and personal style of the designer is easily recognizable. Everything from a covetable jewelry collection, eccentric matador heads, and luminous Virgin Mary candles can be found, along with her signature Boxing Kitten print designs and patterns. As the designer reveals the details of her interior design, Lake demonstrates that truly great style first starts at home.
