In October of 2017, Meagan Good shared with her followers that she would be skipping the eyebrow pencils and pomades and getting a hair transplant for her overly manipulated brows. Good said that she “destroyed” her eyebrows when she was 19 years old. She uploaded a picture of her newly full brows and wrote: “My eyebrows are finally coming along after my #EyebrowTransplant! This has been such an eyebrow evolution journey lol, but finally starting to come full circle ðŸ˜ðŸ™ˆ.”

In her post, she thanked Dr. Jason Diamond for doing the procedure. Dr. Diamond is a well-known facial plastic surgeon who has starred on shows such as Dr. 90210 and Netflix’s Celebrity Plastic Surgeons. An eyebrow transplant averages around $7,500 and according to his website,  “Eyebrow transplants are typically performed by removing hair from the back of the scalp. After hair is harvested, tiny angled incisions are made in the brow area, and the hairs are grafted into the hair follicles.”
The procedure typically takes 2-3 hours and has the same healing process as a tattoo. It reportedly takes up to 4 months to notice hair growth on the brow with the procedure having its best effect up to a year later. Meagan is at the 5-month mark of her brow transplant journey.
