Naomi Campbell will be one of three supermodel judges on the new series, "The Face," coming to the CW, the parent network of "America's Next Top Model." Apparently, the show will center around discovering and mentoring wanna-be models, basically taking more than a page or two from ANTM's book. "The Face" will feature fashion challenges, catwalk shows, faux advertisements for American brands, and culminate with the winning model becoming a brand ambassador and the face of a 'major national brand.' According to the CW, the series, which is still in development, will be chock full of "fashion, beauty and drama."

Why the network has signed on another series to rival ANTM is anyone's guess. Perhaps CW feels as if the network is big enough for both Naomi Campbell and Tyra Banks, a very bold move indeed given the supposedly catty nature of the modeling industry. Then again, Campbell and Banks are grown women, so hopefully the two can play nice and gain equal amounts of success through their shows.
