The Pink Pump mobile truck has figured out the secret to bringing pocketbooks and pumps to all in Detroit.

After a very successful year, PINK PUMP decided to expand their brick and mortar location to a Mobile Fashion Truck. To celebrate the launch of the Glam Boutique on wheels, the store hosted a block party where customers could shop while sipping on Zims Vodka Martini’s.  Other activities included face painting by Mary’s Magical faces, and outdoor games sponsored by YELP. The event’s gorgeous décor was provided by Oh So Gorgeous Events.

Just recently, fashion trucks have been popping up over the US. During the slow summer season,  retailers are thinking of new ways to drive sales and keep their customers interested.  Instead of a food truck, brands are taking this same concept and applying it to their own ways of selling products. Founded by high school sweethearts Kelly and Vincent Kirkwood, the Pink Pump truck was inspired by their “mobile city.”

The Pink Pump Mobile Fashion Experience carries the trendy styles for women of all ages and price points. They also carry unique black – owned labels like Detriot is the New Black.  The entire “on demand” shopping adventure is innovative, edgy and interactive as excited shoppers board for this unique “trip.”  It even houses a fitting room!
