Anyone that has any type of obsession with beauty products knows that you can lose many hours of your life in Sephora! Why? Because they have your dream items from the most coveted brands to use on every part of your body from head to toe! It’s the ultimate makeup, skincare and fragrance playground.

Today, Sephora re-opens its New York 34th Street landmark location which is now the largest store in North America. Not only does it house more than 13,300 products but it also expands the innovative Beauty Tip Workshop, Beauty Studio and Skincare Studio for an educational experience or if you choose a more personalized experience with consultants at your service. This newly redesigned locale is now the first Sephora store in North America to carry La Mer and Jo Malone.



Last night’s press preview was a high energy beauty party with reveals and new discoveries galore. Here’s what we loved:

THE BEAUTY WORKSHOP
This is the heart of the Teach, Inspire, Play (TIP) experience with sleek tables that acts as a central workstation where clients can take beauty classes, try out tutorials and test out the Sephora Virtual Artist technology on integrated iPad stations. You can also gather inspiration from The Beauty Board, a shopable gallery showcasing user-generated content via a large digital screen all centered in the middle of the store.

THE BEAUTY STUDIO

Sephora 34th Street will also debut the Moisture Meter, an exclusive new digital tool that measures the amount of moisture in the skin to guide customers to their individually selected products. Finally, we can get a real clue about just what type of moisture fix our skin is screaming for!

THE FRAGRANCE STUDIO
Sometimes it’s just impossible to find the exact fragrance for your body chemistry and after the fifth time of smelling coffee beans for relief from testing countless scents, one tends to just give up! The new Fragrance Studio is now available to clients and features Fragrance IQ complete with Sephora’s new sensory technology, InstaScent which allows you to experience 18 scent families through an innovative, dry air delivery system. BONUS: once you settle on your fragrance you can take it to the Engraving Station and have it personalized within minutes! LOVE!

THE SKINCARE STUDIO
This area features working sink, well-lit seated stations and a touchscreen station for instant access to Sephora’s exclusive Skincare IQ diagnostic which helps you curate the products specifically for your skin.

And our ultimate fave…

TAP AND TRY
This is Sephora’s newest innovative technology which lets you pick up any lip or lash product connected to the station and scan it to virtually view what it looks like on you without physically trying it on. We loved the virtual mirror that lets you watch as your lips and lashes change right in front of your eyes and the lighting is prime for your best selfie ever!

The cool detail about all of these technology innovations is that they all connect to your Sephora Insider account allowing you to keep up with all of your personalized selections!
