Eden BodyWorks introduced its new JojOba collection at Brunch with EDEN in New York City on Sunday, April 22 at the Lower East Side popular restaurant Beauty & Essex. Featuring EBONY.com’s Style Editor Geneva S. Thomas; Beautypreneur and founder of COCOACHiC, T. Bernie; and Trichologist Dr. Kari Williams, the private brunch gave influencers in beauty, fashion and entertainment a chance to engage in a critical conversation on Black women’s hair and its textured cultural histories. The thought-provoking discussion led by panelists sparked questions resonating with “Brunch with EDEN” guests including the popular Twitter trending topics #teamnatural vs. #teamrelaxed. The discussion considered whether these topics are divisive or supportive for these hair communities. Further discussions included, “Does your hair define who you are?” and “How has your dating life been impacted by your hair choices?”

“Brunch with EDEN” guests were gifted with the entire JojOba collection. Two lucky raffle winners received a Polish Bar of Brooklyn gift certificate and a three-month supply of Eden BodyWorks. Media and blogger guests included: EBONY, Jones Magazine, MadameNoire.com, Juicy Magazine, Love Brown Sugar, This That Beauty, Mischo Beauty, Mane Moves, Brown Girl Gumbo, A Tribe Called Curl, The Style & Beauty Doctor, In Her Shoes, Uneautrenaturelle, Chic and Kinky, Cocoa Pops, FreshDimez, and Sherry Blossom Beauty.
