It’s summertime, the weather is warm and we all like to chill out with a nice refreshing mojito, Long Island iced tea or banana daquiri. But watch out, warns Dr. Corey Hebert, many of those delightful concoctions contain more calories than you think.

In this latest EBONY Health web series video, Dr. Hebert, “The Doctor for the People,”  explains how it happens, what to watch out for and offers some tasty substitute suggestions.

Dr. Hebert is a highly regarded medical broadcast journalist, working as on-air medical editor for the NBC television affiliate in New Orleans, Louisiana and the Gulf Coast, as well as a frequent on-air contributor to The Dr. Oz Show. He has also made hundreds of appearances on national television networks and programs such as CNN, CBS, MSNBC, National Geographic and Good Morning America.
