Tamar had her first break with her sisters as a member of The Braxtons back in 1990, releasing their debut album, So Many Ways, as a trio in 1996.

Four years later, the singer signed her first solo deal with DreamWorks Records, dropping the self-titled Tamar the same year. Unfortunately, she was dropped shortly after.

Braxton returned to music with 2013’s Love & War, which was her first commercially successful album, followed by her Christmas album and Calling All Lovers.

Her final album will be released September 29th.
