Washington, DC has always been known as a city with a rich African-American community. “The Chocolate City,” as it’s affectionately referred to, has been the hometown of some of our finest politicians, entertainers, entrepreneurs and more. While attending the Broccoli City festival this past weekend, Richmond, VA photographer Mister Fili captured some of the local (and non-local) attendees who are primed to make an impact in future generations to come. EBONY.com presents “The Beautiful People of Broccoli City” by Mister Fili.
