We’re all looking for that perfect mate right?  Well, in the new thriller The Perfect Guy, starring Sanaa Lathan, Michael Ealy and Morris Chestnut, Leah (played by Lathan) thinks she’s found him in Carter (Ealy).  He’s got a great job, steamy good looks and says and does all the right things.  Perfection, right?  WRONG!  She soon finds out that this guy is the complete opposite and what seems like a dream slowly turns into a nightmare right before her eyes.  Written by Tyger Williams (Menace II Society) the film slashes into theaters Friday, September 11.

EBONY.com sat down for exclusive chats with the cast of the highly anticipated film and got all the juicy details on what they believe makes up the perfect pairing.  For example, the impossibly lovely Lathan shared that there may be no such thing at all, telling our correspondent Crystal Shaw King:

"I don’t think there is such a thing as perfection if you’re human," Lathan shared. "There are people who are more matched and more compatible.  I think [my character] 'Leah' was looking for that and she thought she had it, but the timing was off.  Then she thought she had it again, poor baby. [laughs] I think men and women will be able to relate because we’ve all been in different degrees of that situation."
