Comedian Tiffany Haddish sat down for an interview with Glamour UK and talked about Drake and his father, Dennis, sending her direct messages on social media.

In 2018, during a Red Table Talk interview, Haddish said Drake sent her a private message. She clarified to Glamour that the rapper wanted only to ask her to make a cameo in his Nice for What music video.

“I seen him a few days later and he was like, ‘Yo! You didn’t respond to my DM,” the comedian told Glamour's Josh Smith. “He was like, ‘Well, I just wanted to know if you wanted to be in my music video.’”

After appearing in the video, Haddish said she thought more would come from the message but said Drake never showed up for dinner. “That’s what I get for being thirsty,” she joked.

The rapper’s dad had other plans for the Girls Trip star.

“His dad be hitting me up though,” she said. “And I turned his dad down. So, you know I might end up being Drake’s stepmama.”
