We know that a mother's milk is nutritious to a growing baby. But, Time took this idea and ran — shocking many this week with its newest cover. With her breast exposed through a small tank top, 26-year-old Jamie Lynne Grumet stands proud as her 4–year-old son feeds for milk. A hot topic for decades, the publication hit the subject on the head with its striking image and headline, “Are You Mom Enough?”. Aside from obvious attachment issues going on, the sensitive subject has people talking about the morality of making an intimate moment into a seemingly lewd, uncomfortable act.

“People have to realize this is biologically normal,” said Grumet, who was breastfed until she was 6. “It’s not socially normal. The more people see it, the more it’ll become normal in our culture. That’s what I’m hoping. I want people to see it,” she adds. What makes the piece even more interesting is that Grumet’s son (pictured) was adopted but began breast-feeding after she had an unexpected baby. “The[re] are people who tell me they’re going to call social services on me or that it’s child molestation. I really don’t think I can reason with those people. But as far as someone who says they’re uncomfortable with this, I don’t think it’s wrong to admit.”
