These days, nailing down the perfect hair products can be quite complicated. Of course, there's the age-old dilemma of finding the items that are right for your hair. However, now that we know how toxic some hair products can be—especially those marketed towards Black women—we have to take additional steps to discover product offerings that are clean and sustainable for the environment.
To help make the search less complicated, Tinashe has partnered with Eva NYC for the rollout of their new Good Hair Day product sets. The "2 On" singer is one of several creatives who have joined forces with the haircare brand to curate the selection.
As part of the collaboration, Tinashe was asked to highlight products from the brand that she utilizes in order to achieve her "perfect" hair day. From the product line, Tinashe selected the Therapy Session Hair Mask, the Freshen Up Invisible Dry Shampoo, the Mane Magic 10-1 Hair Primer spray, and the Mend Magic 10-1 Split-End Mender.
“A good hair day is when I can be relaxed and surrender to the moment. When I’m insecure about a hairstyle, I will touch it a lot, fix it, check the mirror," Tinashe explains in a press statement obtained by EBONY. "But on a good hair day, I don’t worry about flyaways or frizz, wind or sweat. I have the confidence that it is always going to fall into place.”
Every Good Hair Day product set also comes with an exclusive Eva NYC tote bag. In honor of the launch of the planet-first Good Hair Day sets, Eva NYC will donate $10,000 from sales to Green City Force, "an NYC-based organization that trains young people from low-income housing communities for a new and more equitable green economy," the press statement explains.
