T.I. and wife, Tameka ”Tiny” Harris, wasted no time jumping into their marital woes during the season premiere of VH1’s T.I. & Tiny Friends & Family Hustle.

The couple began filming this summer, shortly after the Atlanta rapper was recorded slapping another woman on the butt backstage at a concert. As Tiny confronts her husband over the incident, he urges the Xscape singer not to “dwell” on the moment, something Tiny, understandably, wasn’t trying to hear.

“You should not be grabbing on nobody’s ass. I care about the cheating and the disrespect.”

Tip shot back, saying the video being circulated was the bigger problem.

“Now, all of a sudden, everybody’s opinion makes it into the house,” he told his wife. “I hate it. I don’t care about how they feel. I care about you feel. I love you. The chemistry of you and I cannot be duplicated. You can put you with somebody else, me with somebody else — and you ain’t going to get the same thing.”

Tiny admits that she and the “U Don’t Know Me” MC still have plenty of issues after deciding not to go through with their divorce. In fact, while they are technically still together, Tiny prefers Tip stay at their second home, especially since he still has a lot to learn about being a stand-up husband.

“As of right now, the divorce is off. We’re in a better place, but there’s still setbacks in getting back to where we used to be. We’re still living separate…Our relationship has too much history just to throw away. Tip just needs to step up. If it’s me he wants, then he needs to know that he’s fighting for what he loves.”

In the end, Tip was able to admit his wrong-doing.

“Ultimately, I was wrong, of course. I will accept accountability in the part that I played. The inevitability of falling in love with somebody is, one day, you’re going to hurt each other.”
