Tamar Braxton filed for divorce from Vincent Herbert last October, with the songstress asking for full custody of son, Logan. Soon after, the “My Man” singer addressed their separation and impending divorce in an open letter via Instagram, leading many fans to believe things between the reality show stars were truly in dire straits.
Even Braxton matriarch, mother Evelyn, accused Herbert of being physically abusive towards her youngest, warning him to stay away from her.
Big sister Toni, however, believes The Herberts will actually get back together. In a recent interview with Angie Martinez, the “Un-Break My Heart” singer shared that she believes the couple are just going through a rough patch.
“I think Tamar and Vince are just going through a ‘I hate you, Jody’ phase,” she said. “Remember the movie [Baby Boy]? ‘I hate you, Jody!’ You know that’s just their phase. And I think those two are going to get back together.”
She also addressed rumors that Herbert had a child outside of his marriage to Tamar, saying, “I don’t know if that’s true or not. I’ve been asking, I’ve heard rumors. I’ve asked Tamar, I don’t know if it’s true. It’s not my business to tell their business but if I knew I wouldn’t say anything. I think they’re going to be back together.”
Considering the timing, some believe the couple exaggerated the extent of their marital woes to promote their series, Tamar & Vince, which premiered weeks after the divorce announcement and wrapped one month ago.
