Gary Owen made a name for himself telling jokes about the Black community through the eyes of a White comedian. His latest attempt ruffled feathers on social media users after he made a joke about the N-word.

On Thursday, Owen took to Twitter after watching the Portland Trail Blazers take on the Oklahoma City Thunder. After Damian Lillard hit a playoff series winning shot, Owen wrote, "If Portland's coach could say the N word that would be the perfect time. This N word just hit that s**t. WOW"

Twitter users immediately replied to the tweet begging the comedian to take it down.

Others dragged the comedian for being too comfortable with Black culture.

This isn't his first time being accused of going too far.

Last April, Owen had his wife, who is Black, called comedian Michael Blackston the N-word during a social media beef.
